Safety & trust

People first. Vehicle second.

HGV247 helps with provider discovery. It does not replace emergency services, road-authority control, your employer procedure or competent advice.

At a live road incident

Do not expose yourself or others to traffic to inspect, photograph or repair the vehicle. Use the safest available location and follow current official guidance for the road and nation you are in. A web directory cannot assess the scene.

Before engaging a provider

  • Give the exact location, direction and safe access instructions.
  • Describe the vehicle, trailer, load and symptoms accurately.
  • Ask the provider to confirm capability, dispatch acceptance, timing and price.
  • Verify who is attending and how payment will be handled.
  • Do not treat a platform badge as a replacement for your own supplier checks.

Payment and impersonation

Be cautious if bank details change unexpectedly, payment is demanded to a personal account, or a caller cannot identify the request and business. Confirm using a separately obtained business contact where appropriate. HGV247 does not collect repair or recovery payment on behalf of providers.

Reporting a concern

Tell us about inaccurate capability, impersonation, unsafe conduct, abusive communication, suspicious reviews or misuse of personal data. Preserve the listing URL, request reference and relevant messages. For crime or immediate risk, contact the appropriate authority first.
